I manage to change some network setting (try to add an extra IP address) and in that change I lost network contact to my device.
I can logon via the rs232 port, but I can't edit the files as I do not know the root password.

I take out the harddrives and via a IDE-2-USB converter I manage to get one drive (I only have one converter) at the time visible on a respberry Pi as /dev/sda1, but I cant mount the first partition because it is a part of a raid, and "mdadm --assemble /mnt /dev/sda1" gives "mdadm: no recogniseable superblock on /dev/sda1", and from here I am out of where to go.

I did try that, even with 3 different version of Teranavigator, but non of them manage to find my Terastation.

Good question, I do not have the Terastation on hand, but I think it is stock fw, I do not recall I had modified it, I had open up for ssh.

On all my other Terastations I have modified fw but they are not based on the PowerPC platform.

Maybe, but I had change a file in the network setup, that may prevent the nasnavigator from finding my Terastation?

Any hints of where to find a version of nasnavigator that for sure will work with a PowerPC version of Teraswtation?
