My LinkStation is in a strange condition and I'm not sure that this can be EM.

The only way to communicate with it is acp_commander and through this tool I understood that:
- current ip is 192.168.1.9 (ip that LS always had despite I read online that in EM mode the ip should be different)
- uname returns "Linux LS-CHL-EM544 2.6.22.18-88f6281 #112 Mon Jul 5 09:36:54 JST 2010 armv5tejl unknown"
- I can't upgrade/repair any stock firmware using Buffalo tool for windows because I get an abortion error
- reading log in /var/log is useless because they don't contains any information about EM mode and any error
- there is no web interface despite I read online that EM mode should provides it
- blue led is on (continue, not blinking) and the function button led is off

what can I do to boot normally?

thanks a lot

The red part tells you, that your LS is in EM mode.
The "544" are the last three digits of your boxs MAC address.

I get an abortion error but I runned LSUpdater from a virtual machine.
I need a Windows machine :(

Do you think that hard disk will be broken?

I guess it, but why my ip address is equal to the previous one?

Maybe because your DHCP provider is assigning the same IP
address as before?
