Just bought a new LS210D to replace my eight year old LS-CHL which has finally died.
Liking the better performance but just can't get transmission working.
I enable transmission in the Linkstation and use the dafault settings . . . but after about thirty seconds running I get the error message in the web interface (of transmission) "Connection Failed. Could not connect to the server. You may need to reload the page to reconnect."
When I go back into the web interface of the Linkstation I can see that Transmission is switched on but not running

would really appreciate any help to get this working.

1. open ssh
http://forum.nas-hilfe.de/buffalo-technology-nas-anleitungen/ssh-freischalten-auf-einer-ls210d-t2408.html

2. search the settings.json
Code:
find / -name settings.json

      example
      Quote:
      root@DUO:~# find / -name settings.json
      find: /proc/5691: No such file or directory
      /mnt/disk1/share/.config/transmission-daemon/settings.json

3. search your share folder
Code:
find /mnt -name share

      example
      Quote:
      root@DUO:~# find /mnt -name share
      /mnt/disk1/share

4. copy the file to share
Code:
cp /mnt/disk1/share/.config/transmission-daemon/settings.json /mnt/disk1/share

5. delete the login data
Code:
sed -i 's/"rpc-username": ".*"/"rpc-username": "+++++"/g' /mnt/disk1/share/settings.json

sed -i 's/"rpc-password": ".*"/"rpc-password": "+++++"/g' /mnt/disk1/share/settings.json

6. read this file with Windows and post it here
