Hi

I seem to be having an issue with any inserted USB drive in the LS-VL.
I can always 'see' the drive , I also have Read abilities on the files(the inserted USB) but I do not have write capabilities on the files(inserted USB). for example:

1) I can not change names of any files on the inserted USB
2) I can not copy files to the USB drive from the LS-LV and vice versa

I can see that read/write access is present on the inserted flash drive.
Pl. see image : https://s6.postimg.org/enwf6y7s1/USB_dr ... port_2.jpg

and : https://s6.postimg.org/o9pzn8yxt/USB_dr ... port_3.jpg

but trying to change folder names on the USB or copy files from the LS-LV to the inserted USB will always show the following:

https://s6.postimg.org/cutiimmld/USB_dr ... upport.jpg

* I have translated the warning/error message in the image

by the way , the USB drive is completely working & this happens to any USB drive connected to the LS-LV and I can change names /copy files when these drives are inserted within any windows machine.so the usb device is fine

so my Question : what action do I need to do , to have write access to the inserted USB drive, in other words:

-how can i change file names on the inserted USB
-how to copy files to and fro from the LS-LV to the USB drive.

Regrads

The Linkstation have no write access on NTFS-drives.
Format your stick with fat32 or ext
