I'm running 1.64 firmware on a LS-VL, 2TB. I purchased another Linkstation NAS (Terastation) and am trying to transfer data from the LS-VL to the additional NAS.

How can I do this without needing a "middle-man" PC?
I have root access on the VL. NFS support was removed in the latest firmware and am unable to mount NFS.
I do not have root on the terastation.
I cannot link the NAS' through USB, as they only have inputs.

Any help would be appreciated!

install mc on your ls-vl
create ftp-share on terastation
copy with mc per ftp from ls-vl to terastation
