Hi all. After some misadventures trying to get the debian kernel installed, I've had to restore and just make do with a rooted Shonk install. Which is fine, considering that all I really want to do is run ps3netsrv and use deluge. I've never been able to compile deluge in the past on Buffalo's kernel, because it's been impossible to compile libtorrent-rasterbar. It looks like the folks on a Synology have figured out how to do it, and I think I'm tantalizingly close to getting it done myself. Here's the original thread on Synology: http://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=21716&start=45.

I've followed the instructions, and am at the point where I'd like to ./configure. I used the following command:

./configure --enable-python-binding --with-boost-system=boost_system --with-boost-python=boost_python --prefix=/opt --with-openssl=/mnt/array1/.optware/

However, I get the following error right towards the end (I hope) of the configure:

configure: error:
Could not link test program to Python. Maybe the main Python library has been
installed in some non-standard library path. If so, pass it to configure,
via the LDFLAGS environment variable.
Example: ./configure LDFLAGS="-L/usr/non-standard-path/python/lib"
============================================================================
ERROR!
You probably have to install the development version of the Python package
for your distribution. The exact name of this package varies among them.
============================================================================

Sucks! :evil: I can't for the life of me figure out what command to do next, so I figured I'd turn to the boards for help. Anyone?
