Post subject:  Restart process after installing new firmware running for 11 hours

Hello,
I've installed this morning new firmware on my Linkstation DUO (LS-WXL 2 drives of 2Tb in RAID 1 configuration). It's the first time that I updated my firmware.
For 11 hours I've a screen telling me that the machine must restart for activating the firmware settings and I have to wait untill the restart process is ended and not close or refresh the page in the meanwile.
I can acces the machine and the files via NAS Navigator.

Is it normal that a restart takes so long or do I have a problem?

Thanks in advance,
Leo

load the actual firmware and start the LSUpdater.exe

thank you for the quick response.

In the meantime the "problem"is solved.

I think the problem was that the auto-refresh of the page didn't work.
I noticed a few moments ago that in NAS navigator the firmware version 1.73 was mentioned and took the risk of refreshing the page by myself and then the status of the firmware update was ok.

Thank you very much.
Leo
