I have a Linkstation LS-WXL 2-Bay 6 TB (2x3 TB drives) and last week I started getting an E30 error, too many bad sectors. Then access to the NAS suddenly became extremely sluggish about a day later. Then a few days ago it shut itself off. I reset it and it stayed on for about an hour and then shut itself off again. I'm hoping its a motherboarx problem, so I can just put my drives in a new NAS enclosure, but I'm worried my drives are shot and I don't have 5.5 TB of data backed up... Anyone know what might be wrong or steps I can take to probe further?

Thanks in Advance

One drive is dying.

Buy a Seagate 6TB drive für backup and start it rapidly

With Raid0 you will lost all data on both drives.
