ok here is what i found...

i have the LS-WXLCE6 8tb drive

basically i had new Internet installed
virgin
the ip config was 192.168.0.1
but the previous ip range for the LS-WXLCE6 was 192.168.1.1
the link station would not let me reset this with the function button at all
seems it does not like to release its dhcp settings for some reason !!
but i could get it in to EM mode

so with it in EM mode i downloaded the latest flash files for the drive.

the software with the flash updated picked up my LS-WXLCE6 no problem
once it was flashed and the new firmware value showing i logging into my router and changed my iprange from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1
once the router rebooted i rebooted my nas
and nasnav found the drive again and mapped it no problems

NOTE if your in the UK like me and have the new superhub 2 then you need to do this before you can get to 192.168.1.1
go into DHCP settings and change to 192.168.16.1 first, modem will reboot
once done
now you can goto 192.168.1.1
seems the superhub 2 reserves a lot of ip ranges..

only thing im stuck with now is very slow transfer speeds unless i use fastcopy

thanks and i hope this helps you

dave
