Hi guys and gals,

I already posted this in another thread, but to make it more clear, here are the details.

I recently bought two Linkstation Live V3 devices.
Marvell Feroceon (Kirkwood) 88F6192 based, 800MHz, 64MB DDR2 RAM, no NAND, Gigabit Ethernet, no USB, a single SATA connector and a SPI Flash for Uboot.

I started with the original GPL Kernel sources from Marvell/Buffalo, but then tried the Mainline Kernel (actually Debian's version of Kernel 3.13-7).

What I came up with is a working patchset for the Linkstation Live V3. The full sources are available here:

https://github.com/ingmar-k/Buffalo-Linkstation-Kirkwood-Kernel

I wrote some hints and details here, so be sure to check it out, as I don't want to repeat everything here:

Have fun!

Regards

Ingmar :D

Just FYI, I updated the kernel sources to 3.15.3-1 a few days ago. Still compiles and runs great on my LS-XL V3.

It now is 3.15.5-1 that is available in my repo.
And I will probably convert the LS-XL v3 to device tree usage, soon. We'll see.
