For mach-type, the default number is 527. If you do not want to using devio to create the foo and force to use correct mach-type, just go to the mach-type files, correct the MACH_LSXHL to 527, and change the one who owning 527 to any number else.

how can upgrade kernel 2.6.31 to 2.6.34 ?
if upgrade files is "ready to use " mouch better for me :)
