Hello everybody,
after many years, my LS_CH1-0TL-EU is getting full sò I want/need to change the 1TB hard drive.

Since it is running on 1.34 firmware level, looking at ls_series-171_readme, the first step is update it at least at 1.41 firmware level in order to include the support for hard drives larger than 2TB capacity.

Unfortunately in the official buffalo web page support only the 1.71 firmware is available and I cannot use it since the LS-CHL V2 support has been discontinued in firmware version > 1.60.

Can someone provide a link of a public repository where to find old (between 1.41 to 1.60) official buffalo firmwares?

If this repository does not exist, could you share directly those older firmware in such way?

Thank you very much in advance,

LS-CHL V2 product id is 12

these is the list from LSUpdater.ini FW 1.71

ProductID = 0x00000011
ProductID2 = 0x00000012

now you can see your linkstation is supported by the new FW

1. delete all Partitions on the new drive
2. connect it to your ls
3. start with E06

Use my tftp
