Post subject:  Saving Configuration File other than to a USB

Hello,

I've been exploring options to save the .nas_configuration file to a different location than a USB. I noticed Buffalo makes a tool called NS-SHFT, but this appears not to work as I get the "Could not find target NAS" error even though the Navigator tool can find it without issue.

The other option I explored, is using acp_commander. I noticed there is a -save switch to "save configuration". Has anybody had success using this command? It doesn't seem to put the config file anywhere even though I get no errors returned.

I understand this can be done through the web interface, but I have several NAS devices deployed and looking to script something rather than doing the job manually.

Thanks!

Code:
D:\>java -jar acp_commander.jar -t 192.168.0.XXX -pw YYY -save

...
Save Config...  ACP_STATE_OK

ssh to nas

goto /boot

now you have 2 files
Code:
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root         9912 Jun 19 23:07 conf_save.md5sum
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root        74739 Jun 19 23:07 conf_save.tgz

Awesome! Thank you so much.
