A few months ago we bought a Terastation 3, we set up active directory integration and set permissions on the 5 shares. All this worked fine, now my boss wants a 6th share but have this with no permissions so anybody can access the files. I set the share up and didnt set up access restrictions but i'm still promted for a user and password.

What's the best way to achieve this as it certainly isnt obvious.

Thanks in advance.

If you are already set up for Active Directory integration with your Domain Controller, you should be able to grant access to this new share to your Windows domain's "Everyone" group. That should let everyone who has a profile in Windows get into this new share without further authentication.

It will not let casual visitors reach this share. For that, you will need to dig into the user's manual to learn how to set up a user named "anonymous" with the ability to reach this share. Since you are using Active Directory to manage users and share permissions, the "anonymous" feature may not be available to you.
