Hi guys,

I've been developing a custom database system for a charity, that runs on their Linkstation (LS-WVL, LS-WXL), which they also use as local networked storage. All is going well, but I can't get mail to send using php. The test and maintenance emails set up via the web interface are fine, I get them everyday, so I know the box is capable of sending email, but my php scripts don't seem to send anything. I can't find any errors in the log, and I can't seem to generate any email logs by changing the php.ini file.

I suspect I'm missing something obvious - but I've not set up a server before. Can anyone help? I've read that 'sendmail' needs to be set-up or installed properly, but I'm not sure how to do this... I've also read that 'postfix' might be a better alternative, but again, have no idea how to do this.

All I need is to be able to use "mail(email, subject, body, headers)" in a php script running on the NAS.

Advice if possible!

Thanks,

Tim
