Hi guys,

(hopefully theres somebody else out there thats gotten further than me)

I ran dmesg on the 500GB network space system and it reported that there was a serial port on the system (devttys0). I guess this is used as a serial console for linux.
I opened up the box and found that there is an 8-pin sil header behind the hard disk. I ran a little script to output a string to the serial port and probed each of the pins with an oscilloscope. It turns out that the TXD pin is the 8th pin in the row (closest to the hard disk, furthest from the screw).

I am going to have a go at determining what each of the pins does. I wondered if anybody else has done this already?

I have been using foonas-em from a TFTP boot with great success on my KuroPro, (thanks for putting together a great tool)

I would however, like to install foonas-em permanently into flash as I have done with my KuroHG.
Is this possible with the Kuropro? I can only seem to find usage details for TFTP?
