I installed Debian Lenny on the LS-CHLv2 with 2TB drive, works fine, using the following instructions:http://www.onderka.com/inhalt/buffalo-linkstation-live-ls-chl-v1-v2-und-v3/debian-installation-auf-der-linkstation-live/
I set out to get Crashplan running and got some ways using the following instructions for the SheevaPlug:https://crashplan.zendesk.com/entries/390250-crashplan-on-sheevaplug
Note: the instructions are further down in the comment section.
I managed to get the openjdk java to work on the box, installed crashplan and it starts up fine. However, as mentioned in the post above, crashplan is unable to backup because jna is not installed. If I try
apt-get install libjna-java
the package cannot be found.
Anybody has an idea how to install jna on the LS-CHLv2 with Lenny? Having Crashplan on the LS would be a reall blast
