HI,

What would you like to do with the box? I find the MOD1a firmware is good a pre rooted firmware with twonky, media server loaded.

I tried the Debian but has some issues with missing packages and non standard software not being supported anymore.

Hi,
This is the same as updating the firmware. Some how the updater will not see my nas-xhl. Debian 6.0 works but it has some issues. I want to reflash with stock then go with debian 6.0 again. or clean install debian. by the way, the folder /boot is empty in my nas-xhl.

You will need to mount it.
Code:
mount /dev/sda1 /boot
