Post subject:  Mapping network drive to linkstation

hi everybody i want to mount a network drive to my link station. iam using ls-xhl 1tb. my nas is rooted and i try this code:

mount -t cifs -o guest \\192.168.103\c /mnt/venus

i get this error code:

mount: mounting \192.168.103c on /mnt/venus failed: No such device

does any body try this kind of things. anybody can help?

I think that you don`t have cifs as module for your kernel.

Exactly! To mount a remote share on a local device you need CIFS and without that nothing will work! Which is your Kernel? I faced a problem once and it was because I was using android kernel!
