Thanks a lot, I formated the usb drives for EXT2

Sucess to mount the usb2, but created a folder "lost+found" on directory

root@Nas:~# ls -l /mnt/disk1/share/usb2
d--------- 2 root root 4096 Dec 31 1969 lost+found/

It's normal?

Edit:
Another thing, every time I reboot the nas, I need manual mount the device?

1) this is normal
2) you can use a script to mount

I already try to do a automatic script shortcut on putty to mount, but I'm really newbie on commands.

I have working shortcuts to reboot and login root on the nas:

I try add the command on shortcut
mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/disk1/share/usb2

But receive error:
unknown option "-mount"

Can you help-me please?

the simplest way is to install optware.
Now you can put your start scripts to /opt/etc/init.d/
and your kill scripts to /etc/rc.d/extensions.d/

my exampe with transmission on 5.2 from

No 24/12 MB/s Read/Write to the NAs is normal.
What is your speed to the internal drive?

If you need speed, by the LS-VL 75/50 MB/s
With 1TB on eBay for 50 Dollar

On internal hdd it's ok, maximum speed on my lan, 10/100
Get 11mb/s to read/write

But....
Almost abandoning this nas, samba freeze all the time to copy many small files.

I think build a atom 230 (4w consuption)

CHL V2 gets 45-47 MB/s Smb read with 1.69 Mod wired gigabit ofc

on 100mbit you will get a max of around 11.4 MB/s

on garyt's firmware i have no idea if he enabled the tweaks for models under VL in the initrd
if he hasnt you could flash my initrd and his main image to get the benefits

I am a newbie and this is my first post. I have the LS-V2.0TL and unfortunately upgraded to the OEM 1.69 firmware from Buffalo. Now, when I try to upgrade to any other 1.69 mod, I get "Linkstation that needs updating wasn't found."

What do I need to do? Sorry if I sound needy, but I just bought a PS4 and need PLEX as a Media Server. And I have been looking through threads all day.
