So you have finally up and running Debian now? :biglol:

Do you need my scripts? You should have some knowledge in bash scripting and systemd then.

Fancontrol:

Code:
apt-get install smartmontools

Script
Code:
HD_TEMP=`smartctl -A /dev/sda | awk '/^194/ { print($10) }'`

if [ $HD_TEMP -lt 42 ]; then
   if [ $HD_TEMP -lt 35 ]; then
      echo 1500 >/sys/devices/platform/gpio_fan/hwmon/hwmon1/fan1_target
   else
      echo 3000 >/sys/devices/platform/gpio_fan/hwmon/hwmon1/fan1_target
   fi
else
   echo 5000 >/sys/devices/platform/gpio_fan/hwmon/hwmon1/fan1_target

but the fan is running at full speed.

please give me scripts to control the fan

Nice to hear, maybe you can make an Tutorial for other users with my Instructions ;-)

I`ve tried to create correct systemd compliant scripts. So you can configure the stuff in /etc/default/, and check the status/errros with:
Code:
journalctl -xn

Code:
systemctl status fancontrol

Ok, copy the files to your nasbuf in the given directories. Then you could rewrite like you need it
Enable what you need with:

Code:
systemctl enable autoshutdown
systemctl start autoshutdown
systemctl enable fancontrol
systemctl start fancontrol
systemctl enable firewall
systemctl start firewall
systemctl enable nasbuf-hwsettings
systemctl start nasbuf-hwsettings

Warning!

Only use the blue download button!
All red, green and black buttons lead to executable files with viruses!

ls-qvl-scripts.tar.xz

And to get the buttons correct to work you will need my patched kernel package!

linux-image-4.10.16-marvell_0.1_armel.deb

I have Linux only, so i would and really cannot use any .exe file.

JDownloader2 is able to download the files correct!

POWEROFF/REBOOT
You have an LS-WVL correct? There is an AUTO switch on the back? For the LS-QVL it is really easy. You have to set WOL to d, then the machine will REBOOT. If you set WOL to g the machine will poweroff! I have done this in my nasbuf-hwsettings script under sys_shutdown.

POWER/FUNCTION BUTTON
You can bring the power button to work if you recompile the kernel with my patch. The buttons are not correct linked to evdev events in the kernel source! Install evtest to your debian on the LS-WVL and try it by yourself ;-)

LED
All LEDs are accessible trough gpio! Look into my nasbuf-hwsettings script.

this works

Code:
parted -s /dev/sda mkpart root ext4 2G 100%

Thanx, is fixed. Normally -1 is used in interactive mode ;-)

Try to to:
Code:
modprobe ext4

I have added ext4 as forced to load in the last iniramfs image 2 posts up!

Keep me up with infos, i have written everything out of my mind, maybe some more problems to solve ;-)

Do you like the ssh interface with all the infos? :p
