Hi All,

Trying to configure Twonky using DDNS to share a selection of photos with wider family. Naturally I wont want to allow admin access as this will allow them to share other folders on the drive and access other media files which are shared to specific individuals through the buffalo nas web access feature. Ideally I wont want to use the web access feature to share these files publicly just because the twonky interface is preferable for images.

So, locked down Twonky to just one folder of the drive and applied a username and password in the settings menu, configured port forwarding and ddns.

The only problem is that when calling the Twonky server it requires authentication, but the only account you seem to be able to configure is the admin account and so you cant access the share without logging in as admin when I believe admin is intended to only lock out the settings screens. I've tried to locate alternative port numbers or similar which would negate this but no luck so far.

In summary, I want to be able to access Twonky without authenticating whilst requiring authentication on the settings pages.

Thanks in advance!
