Link Station Mini has default ftp root of "/mnt" which does not work for my Wanscam IP camera. I'd like to change default ftp root from "/mnt" to "/mnt/array1/share".

I was able to use "acp_commander.jar" to gain access to shell and tried to change "DefaultRoot" in "/etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf" from "/mnt" to "/mnt/array1/share", but after power cycle, the "proftpd.conf" changed back to the old one with "DefaultRoot /mnt".

I also tried to change "ftpd.sh", it reverted back to the old one after power cycle.

How can I make changes to "proftpd.con" stay after power cycle? Or there are better ways to change ftp default root?

Thanks in advance.

After some researches, I was able to make changes to rcS to call a different "ftpd_new.sh" and make changes to the "ftpd_new.sh".

Changes on "rcS" and "ftpd_new.sh" stayed after power cycle, and my default ftp root became "/mnt/array1/share" :biglol: .
