I used acp_commander to put the unit into emergency mode.

There was nothing wrong with it. Is the only way out of emergency mode to re-apply firmware?

Try to execute this via acp_commander ("-c" parameter):
Code:
mv /boot/rootfs_* /boot/rootfs_ok
echo `date` > /boot/rootfs_ok

Maybe they use the same mechanism as two years ago.

If you like, you can do some research before and look into "/boot"
via acp_commander by this:
Code:
ls -l /boot

Example:
Code:
java -jar acp_commander -ip 192.168.1.1 -t 192.168.1.1 -pw password -c "ls -l /boot"

Adapt IP address and password to your environment.
