This may sound like a stupid question but has any one been successful accessing their link station via http using DynDNS account instead of of using buffalo site.
I have had a Dyndns site set up for my ip's for a long time and have not had any issues running proxy's from routers, ftp servers and other stuff that my router has forward to at one time.
Maybe I am doing something wrong.
Web Access Servce is enabled
DNS Hostname contains myipname.blah.net <-- given from dyndns
External Port set to specified port.

My router is forwarding any traffic requesting that specific to the consistant ip that has been given to the linkstation.

No matter what I try in IE i cannot get to the http service to work so i can see my folder. No log on name or password is asked via http.
Only thing that works via http is the admin page.

So it looks like port 9000 is the only port that works. Maybe that was the reason. I know it states to use 9000 in the documentation, but then there is an External port where you can type any number.... Just seems contridicting.
