Can a subversion server be installed on the Linkstation Mini? I like this device because it's small and quiet. But before buying I'd like to know... Thank's a lot!

If you can install Debian on it, then you can (99.99%) install and run svn on it... I can't remember if I've seen anyone install lenny on the mini.

I have svn running on a lenny-armel LSPro, and it works fine (though websvn is not superfast, just usable). So, though not really fast, the LS (as a class of hardware) can run it just fine.

I'm not sure if anyone has tried running Optware on the mini either. There may be a subversion package in Optware, but I frankly dunno...

1) I have successfully installed and booted armel debian on Mini, via debootstrap.
2) svn works in Gentoo, confirmed. High chances it will work in Debian too :)
3) Optware works on mini, confirmed long time ago
