Post subject:  Default IP on an LS-GL 320

i'm trying to follow instructions to repalce a failed harddrive in my ls-gl 320. I need to lsaupdate it apparently. But i cant find the ip address of the unit. I have reset it, but still cant connect to it.

I am setting the local IP of my pc to 192.168.x.x etc, and linking the ls-gl directly by ethernet cable. I just can't find the right address to talk to the unit.
I've tried .168.0, .168.1, .168.11

Can anybody help please?

Thanks!

BUMP

I think the problem here is that the LS-GL already has an error condition (i.e there is no hard disk in it partiotioned/formatted etc correctly). Therefore pressing the reset button at the back for 10 secs appears to do nothing. I dont know it's IP so I can't communicate with it.

What am i to do if i can't reset the device due to the existing error condition?
