Has anyone gotten a BitTorrent Client like transmission to work with you LS-LGL?

You can try rtorrent. It is in the Debian archives and ready to be installed. I would recommend you to install the version of rtorrent from unstable (which I firmly believe is stable, but I'm looking for feedback).

Thank you very much. Please notice that the new version features quite some sweet features and I would love to know how well it is working.

Thanks.

During the summer i tried working with Transmission. I was able to fully install and configure it, however, transmission would crash a few seconds after loading a torrent. It would download a little bit of data for it but then it would crash.

Well, what kind of crash did you get? Can you get a dmesg of your kernel? Or is it a userspace crash?

Anyway, you can grab a freshly compiled rtorrent from Debian. I uploaded it one or two days ago.
