Does Kurobox Pro need any special operation to get the front side UART0 to work? I have tried to get it working with minicom in Ubuntu 10.04 but I can only read data, I'm not able to write.
This is quite annoying since my u-boot has the boot parameters set as 115200 xxx /dev/mtdblock2 instead of root=/dev/mtdblock2, so the Kurobox Pro won't boot up :/. Any tips on this one?
I'm using the http://buffalo.nas-central.org/wiki/Add_a_Serial_port_to_the_ARM9_Linkstation#Usage_considerations_for_the_TTL-232R-3V3
cable I got from Mouser and it is soldered properly and should work ok, but I still can't write to /dev/ttyUSB0, even after using sudo and modifying the serial port options with stty, so I don't know whether its a software or hardware issue?
EDIT: If you need more information that I didn't probably remember to post here, please ask
