Can I really intall this
on a kurobox pro ? It seems this is for a LS pro ...
If it's OK, what is the installation method ? Is it like this
1. YES, I don't have a LS Pro, and I tested this particular process out on my KuroBox Pro when the question was posted in this thread, to see if I could solve the problem posted.
2. Yes and No, the automatic install method does indeed generate the partition scheme that this install would fit nicely into, but you are going to have to get your hands dirty. Although theoretically you could fit some of these pieces into the automatic installer, it's highly UNlikely that would not work. This process really REQUIRES you to have serial console access. The process is outlined fairly clearly in this post:viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5736&p=72241&#p72241
And personally I'd recommend that you have a Linux workstation with an SATA port or a USB/SATA adapter so that you can do the drive partitioning and rootfs and /boot assembly if you get stuck.
Truthfully most desktop computers these days have SATA ports so all you would need is something like a Knoppix LiveCD to satisfy the last issue. But serial port console access is a MUST. You can look here to see how: http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.php/Serial_port
