Last two messages had no response to them and post frequency seems to be less than once a month. But still, here goes....
I never had a chance to play with the Kurobox Pro that I bought 2yrs ago and now after I ordered a 1TB disk by mistake, I fit that in the Kurobox Pro. Without a serial cable to start tinkering with it, I thought why not just try out the basic web interface from: http://downloads.buffalo.nas-central.or ... evolution/
I copied the contents of the WWW without htpasswd folder in the /www/ directory of the kurobox pro. But when I try to access the http://kurobox-pro/index.htm
, it redirects to http://192.168.34.160/cgi-bin/top.cgi
which inturn gives a 404 error.
I have tried to change the permissions to 755 for files and 644 for directories but it doesn't make a difference -- still get 404 error.
I also noticed that the Kuro Box UI FAQ.txt says to leave the .htpasswd file intact. But there is no .htpasswd file in the WWW without htpasswd
(directory named to indicated that!!!). However, there is a .htpasswd in script
Has anyone been able to make that work?
