Hi,

After performing an install of freelink using the Automatic install method but well
i did not follow the partitioning as mentionned. i reduced the swap space and completed everything.
after i hit reboot, it went in an automatic reboot cycle (auto reboot every about 30 seconds)

then i took out the hard drive, mounted it to my linux partition and partitionned it according to the mentionned sizes.
i put it back to the box and this time, slightly better. I thought, ok it seems accessible. When i tried to access it..
unable to telnet / ssh. Tried to ping, no go too (request timed out)

so, i thought if maybe a replacement of the hard drive might solve it. Once i got my replacement hard drive, i slotted it into the kuro. Booted it up. Attempted to ping to 192.168.11.150 (request timed out)

I connected the kuro to my router this time.

I went to the client monitor and saw the mac address of my kuro listed but the IP address was not stated

did a restart of the kuro. Same issue

Any advise folks of how to resolve it? btw, i dont have a serial and aint good with soldering...

Was the box on DHCP and it was not ? Try a static IP address for now, "apt-get install dhcpcd" later. You can access the HDD by connecting it to a PC.
