I am at my wits end trying to figure out what is causing this issue. I have a LS-WTG /R1 (2.0 TB) connected to an iMac that also runs Parallels (windows emulator).

I am simply trying to copy files from the NAS to my iMac and am getting "You don't have permission to access the file" errors. The strange part is that I can copy some files, but not others, within the same folder. So clearly, the files' permissions have somehow changed. I called Apple and they blame Buffalo and I called Buffalo and they blame Apple - neither one of which offered a solution.

As I mentioned, I also have Parallels installed on my iMac, which allows me to run Windows on my iMac, but I can't copy the files through Windows either.

I've removed permissions (using the Buffalo software) and reapplied them to the entire share root folder, without any luck.

Any other suggestions/solutions would be helpful, otherwise, I will take my drive to some disk recovery service to see what they can do.
