I've got a Kurobox HG for 8 years working 24x7 and as my disk went small for the NAS, I bought a 4TB one.
I've cloned it and expanded with gparted in other linux system but it doesn't boot. U-Boot says:
U-Boot 1.2.0 (Jan 16 2010 - 02:18:53) LinkStation HG / KuroBox HG
stdin : nc
IDE: Bus 0: ....OK
Device 0: Model: WDC WD40EZRX-00SPEB0 Firm: 80.00A80 Ser#: WD-WCC4EK9R597R
Type: Hard Disk
Supports 48-bit addressing
Capacity: 1718295.8 MB = 1678.0 GB (-775897424 x 512)
It seems my system doesn't recognize disks over 1,6TB.
- Have you got a bigger disk working on a Kurobox HG?
- Does the disk work if I connect it by USB with the other system disk inside?
Thank you in advance
pd. if it doesnt, I think I will try the Raspberry
