Why do you expect a NTFS formatted disk to work with
such an old system, like the PowerPC based TS?
To WRITE on a NTFS disk is a kind of "recent" feature in
Linux (compared to the age of the TS-HTGL). I would not
be surprised, if this will not work without problems (if it
works at all).
Use a native Linux format for the disk like ext2/3 or XFS.
If you need access from other OS, do NOT use XFS, take
TS fails to detect the NTFS USB after re-boot.
Sad but true, maybe it's time to upgrade to TS Pro.
I still believe there's a technical solution to detecting USBs with the system I have now
(ie. a clean format of the USB); not that my local technical support has any remedies.
