Hi All,
Got a bit of an odd problem.
We have a Terastation - Model TS-HTGL/R5 FW- 1.35
It is Linux based.
We yhave a Windows server on the network that is running Backup Exec 2012 - we have created a symbolic link via UNC path to the terastation on the Windows server and full backups run like a dream.
Unfortunately though the differentials or incrementals (tried both) do not, we have spoken to symantec who say this is because the Linux box does not store the date modified data in a readable format for the Windows server and as a result, it scans, thinks that nothing has changed and we get a .bkf of 0bytes.

We are pretty sure if we could connect the NAS to the server with iSCSI then it would work, however, there has got to be a way round this.

Any clues?
