Hi,

i have installes the opentera v5 Package on my Terastation (HD-H1.0TGL/R5) when i was connected via ssh. Since the reboot, i have no no access to the terastation via lan.

What i realised after the openTera v5 installation was a hint for the open ssh package (Link):
Quote:
CAUTION
Do not try to install this package if you are connected via SSH rather than basic telnet or you are likely to make your TeraStation unbootable.

So the opentera package contains open ssh. And i think here i went wrong...

I can not find the teratstation on my net.

What have i done since this time:
  • saved my data with UFS Explorer
  • removed all partitions on the 4 hdds using gparted
  • created console access via modifying the mainboard. But i only have read access :|

When i power on the terastation, to boot sequence looks like usual, except that after the blue led LINK is on, the fan is spinning slightly faster.

Image

Via the serial interface, i can connect and see the boot process. It looks like this:
Code:

BUFFALO INC. TeraStation series HD-HTGL (YOSHIMUNE)

HD-HTGL-EM login:

Here i am not able to login. No input via the keyboard is possible for me.
Is there a way to get write access? And if i will have write access, what can i do with it? :geek:

I think the problem is the line
Code:
Ignoring unknown interface eth0=eth0.

What striking is: the rotation of the fan increases a little after the boot sequence. It was not before. May be it depends on the EM-Mode?

When i press the power button on the terastation it says:
Code:
INIT: Switching to runlevel: 0
INIT: called shutdown_start /etc/rc.d/rc0.d/K10shutdown_start
Stop diskmon:done.
Stop kernelmon:done.
Stop processmon:done.

done.

Is there a way to reanimate my terastation?
Thanks for tips.
