Issue: I cannot see the NAS on the network, and I cannot map to shares via hostname or IP address. I cannot browse shares through Navigator. This issue occurred when a new Internet Provider replaced the internet cable modem, and assigned new IP address. I went into the NAS and changed the IP address to match the range shown on its configuration page. At that point, I was unable to map to the shares on the NAS. It was working properly prior to the internet changeover. The operation of IP change on the NAS, while normally simple, has turned into a large mess.

The Navigator version is current.
The firmware on NAS is current.
I can see the shares through the IP interface.
I can ping the NAS from workstation attached to LAN.
I can see the other workstations on the network.

The LAN consists of a NetGear Prosafe 16 port switch (unmanaged) to which all workstations and the NAS are hardwired, with one patch cord to the cable modem to share the internet connection. The Internet connection is coming through a Time Warner Technicolor cable modem.

Any ideas on something I can try?

Thank you for the reply. I rebooted when I updated to the firmware, and again after. No Change.
