I have buffalo NAS quad. Previously populated with 1 tb drives.
all set up as single drives, no raid.
upgraded drive a to 3 tb by using sata clone hardware to copy the old 1tb to the new 3 tb drive.
Could not read drive from usb connection (sata drive adapter) to windows pc (as expected).
Plugged 3tb drive into buffalo linkstation, according to linkstation web interface, it has 3 tb space.
Viewed from windows pc via LAN, it has all files, but size is old size, 1tb.
So need to expand the 1tb partition to use all 3tb.
linkstation web interface has no apparent way to expand the partition, and pc cant read the disk directly due to format difference.
Is there a simple way to expand the partition?
Or do I have to format it and copy the drive again manually?
