Hi,

I hope someone can help. I have a Cloudstation with Pogoplug and am trying to delete the .cedata folder in order to force the drive to reindex and create a new thumbnail folder, and also because Pogo recommended doing so because I keep losing remote connection with the drive and they can't identify the reason.

However, I keep getting the error message ' Insufficient permissions'.

I have full admin rights and am connecting using SMB on a Mac.

I see one or two other forum posts on this subject, but couldn't find a satisfactory answer.

Any advice please - on either deleting .cedata folder or why I keep losing connection with the Cloudstation when connecting over internet.

Thks

You can try to use acp_commander.jar, if this tool is still
working for the cloudstation.
The acp_commander has a parameter "-c" which executes
commands with root rights.

Thanks - that looks a bit technical for me. I spoke with one of the members of the Technical Support team and they recommended NOT to touch any of the system files, so I will go back to Pogo and see what other suggestions they have.

This for your help.
