This is probably a long shot given the forums activity, but I will try it anyways.
TL;DR How can I get an foonas-em image for LS Live? Or, what is an alternative way to set uboot variables?
I have been a wiki/forum reader for quite a while. I followed the steps here to upgrade my LS Live to FreeLink, then to Lenny a while (~7 yrs ?) ago. I am again upgrading hard drive from 2TB to 4TB. I want to take the opportunity to install Wheezy. The installation went smoothly but the box doesn't boot. After some troubleshooting, I think the problem is the uboot variable 'bootarg_root'. I didn't run the config-debian since it doesn't work on lenny. But looking at the code, it try to set the variable to:
bootargs_root=root=/dev/sda2 rw panic=5
But mine is:
bootargs_root=root=/dev/sda2 rw initrd=0x00800040,15M panic=5
I couldn't find a way to set the uboot variable on lenny. Wiki suggested to use foonas-em but site is down and I couldn't find the image anywhere else.
Any suggestions? Anyone still keeps to foonas-em image that I can use?
