Yes in some way... Also this is OT then - could you send me a link to a/some thread(s) that point(s) into the right direction ? PLEASE ;)
As I unterstand your post there is a possibility to update samba and the "bufallo" version of the kernel without going to freelink ?

There are a few versions of the kernel that can be downloaded from this site via the downloads area. Regarding samba, you can use the opt ware download but I would have to see if a package is available for later samba's? Also, you would need to patch the current diastro to prevent it from modifying your samba config on reboot. There is a topic on this somewhere. Try searching the forum. If not, I will try and find the link.

I am sorry to say that this is because you have no room left on you rootfs partition. There is a good article in the wiki on moving directories (via shortcuts back to root) to gain more drive space rather than re-partitioning.

Hello,

I'm a fresh user of Freelink on my Buffalo Linkstation.

I used freelinkomatix.sh and all works fine but a have a little problem with proftpd

It writes :

Code:
/initrd/usr/local/sbin/proftpd: /lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_3.5' not found (required by /initrd/usr/local/sbin/proftpd)
/initrd/usr/local/sbin/proftpd: /lib/libcrypt.so.1: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by /initrd/usr/local/sbin/proftpd)
/initrd/usr/local/sbin/proftpd: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by /initrd/usr/local/sbin/proftpd)

Are there a simple solution to have a Ftp server on my Nas ?

@+

It is installing objects that are not compatible with your kernel/install. What kernel do you have, uname -a?

This is a script is not ARMel based. You need to either change your kernel or update your apt-sources and get the relevant files via aptitude/apt. Unless ramuk can update the Freelinkomatix script?
