Can anyone please help me with this? I've been trying to install custom software to my NAS. In order that to succeed, I need to be able to use GCC to compile stuff. I have ran bootstrapping script I believe is the correct one (see below). Installation succeeds and everything seems fine.

Code:
Linkstation Pro/Linkstation Live/Linkstation EX

mkdir /mnt/disk1/tmp
cd /mnt/disk1/tmp
wget http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/cs05q3armel/cross/stable/lspro-bootstrap_1.2-7_arm.xsh
sh lspro-bootstrap_1.2-7_arm.xsh

I've also installed GCC by using IPKG (ipkg install gcc). When I try to compile even the simpliest hello world program there can be, process fails. Error message is:
Code:
/lib/libc.so.6: file not recognized: File format not recognized
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Library that IPKG installed (or was it there already?) seems invalid, but why? Is there a problem in that feed I'm using or is it a wrong one? I know that feed for Kirkwood processors surely won't work. There doesn't really seems to be any alternatives. Are there other LS-CHL (LSLIVEv3) owners who have succesfully used GCC from that feed?

If it is really a V3, it is definitely NO Orion5 based box.
I assume, it is a kirkwood based one and due to this,
the feed is wrong.
Try the cs08... feed instead.

It should be this one "http://buffalo.nas-central.org/wiki/Category:LS-CHL". I actually also tried installing "cs08" feed, but it immediately complained about processor not being Kirkwood based. Kind of hard to figure out how to make things work. It's strange, if no one else has bumped into this issue with LS-CHL.
