Hi, I'm fairly new to Linux on the LS2 but having to learn fast. I have Openlink installed, as others in the house still need the web UI, but I need diff to write a housekeeping script. It appears diff isn't in the Openlink version of Linux. Any ideas how I can get it onto my LS2?

Thanks
Dean

Have you tried downloading the mipsel .deb version and using dpkg -i *.deb to install it? I don't know if that'll work on openlink(?), but you can get it from http://packages.debian.org/etch/diff .

If that doesn't work you could try unpacking it in /tmp and see if diff inside will work on openlink.

Code:
dpkg -x *.deb /tmp

Then look in /tmp for it, or you may try:

Code:
/tmp/usr/bin/diff
