Hi All:
Since I just upgrade the firmware to 1.64 in my LS-QVL and want to make a custom kernel to support NFS and however once I type "uname -a" and I find the kernel is updated to:

Linux My_NAS 3.3.4-88f6281 #2 Mon Dec 10 17:31:41 JST 2012 armv5tel unknown

and I searched the Buffalo source download page it is only kernel-2.6.x

Does any one know where to find out the 3.3.x Buffalo source kernel ?

Request the sources for the recent kernel from Buffalo.
They HAVE TO provide the sources. If they deny, send
a mail to Harald Welte and describe the problem.
Harald is one of the Linux kernel developer and had
already brought some router companies to court, because
of GPL violations (successfully!).
I just had a look at the open source page of Buffalo
myself and they still indeed missed to provide the
sources for the current kernels.

I stopped compiling own kernels some time ago and
therefore had no real interest in the current kernel
sources. Otherwise I would had already done this myself.

Please do not use private mail (PN/M) to ask questions. Use the proper forum instead. (me)

If there is no verified backup of a dataset, the dataset, by definition, is unimportant. (c't 2012)

RAID (no matter which level) never ever substitutes a backup. (me)

The sources are available at http://opensource.buffalo.jp/ls-x-165.html (via the list at http://opensource.buffalo.jp/gpl_storage_link.html). By the way, 1.63 already had that Kernel, I don't know about 1.61 and 1.62 though since I skipped them.
