It seems that make-kpkg
in Debian is a nice tool, but apparently it does not directly support the creation of kernel+module packages for UBoot-enabled boxes... ie. it does not allow for one to directly create .deb packages containing uImage kernels(that are ready for UBoot).
Has anyone in the community tried using mkimage in the ./debian/post-install script to convince make-kpkg to convert the kernel into a uImage/UBoot kernel just before packaging? If so, could you please share your work/ideas? I'd like to avoid reinventing the wheel.
