I've just started seeing this problem since I updated to iTunes 8.1.1. When I try to connect to my mt-daapd share from my foonas/LS1 box, the share is originally visible, but clicking on it simply makes it disappear.

Has anyone else seen this?

If you have, and if your fix is similar to the one below in Apple Discussion, could you please comment on it?

iTunes 8.1.1 + mt-daapd = Itunes could not connect...

Note : my new avahi services file reads like this :

root@lsppchd:/etc/avahi/services# cat mtdaapd.service

    <txt-record>txtvers=1 iTShVersion=131073 Version=196610</txt-record>

    <txt-record>txtvers=1 iTShVersion=131073 Version=196610</txt-record>
