Hello,

and congratulations! It's really nice to see the Wiki growing but I got mixed up a little by the move to .org. But this is not sure, mayby im was a little bit to stupid ;)

My Problem is, that I installed an older Customhacked Firmeware 2.05 version (Can't remember which one) and then 'busybox' on my own. But now I wanted to switch to SSH and luckily found 'dropbear' in the 'mipsel-tools-v3.tgz' on the old wiki. But this seems not to be downloadable anymore. On this sites here I only found 'mipsel-tools-1.tgz' without 'dropbear', but found it in the new 'openlink-firmware'.
But this new firmware would mixup my own configurrations, startup scripts and so on ..am I right??

So is it possible to get the Openlink tools w.o. firmware update from anywhere??

Thanks for your help..
tokshi

The release are designed a bit differently now. There will be an OpenLink firmware which is based on the latest official firmware but with added utelnetd, dropbear, busybox, and some libs. The tools packages will include everything (hopefully) to develop and run programs. You probably shouldn't change firmware since it would, as you pointed out, replace your customizations. I also will make utelnetd and dropbear available as an add-on package for those who don't want to flash their firmware (such as you). I'll post a download link later today.

Dropbear is now available as a separate package: http://buffalo.nas-central.org/Projects/MIPSel. Sorry about the delay; I had a 7,000 word business law paper due!
