With the new availabilty of a 2.6 kernel on the ls 2 , could one of you kind souls with kernel 2.6 knowledge please tell me if the yeahlink driver modules are compatablie with this kernel version.

The following urls give more details about the driver, the phone hardware and software etc.

http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/HowTo/ConnectUSBPhone and
http://www.devbase.at/voip/yeaphone.php

I did get asterisk working purely as a switch board routing calls to and from the phone on my desktop on the 2.4 kernel but am a complete noob with 2.6.

I cant just play errm experiment at the moment as my remaining ls2 has all my music collection on it and Im waiting for someone to write the dummies guide to installing 2.6 on an l2s using uboot.

Cheers

The driver for yealink is in the modules tarball, see the section on Kernel development (mipsel), but I don't think that anybody tried it yet.
