when i manually start mc_ctld (copied from openlink) at debian i get following message: /proc/linkstation: No such file or directory
because i didn't completely understand the proc-system i absolutely don't know what to do now.
in openlink i get: cat /proc/linkstation
which programm/process generates this file?
or do i simply have to create it once? is this saved on hdd (i don't think so, because proc)
i thought the problem could perhaps be a not correctly mounted proc, but after creating a correct fstab mount displays this:
/dev/hda1 on / type ext3 (rw,noatime,errors=remount-ro)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
usbfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw)
but the problem is the same
the problem was, that i forgot to copy /usr/sbin/mc_ctld to my debian :-/
i found this hint in the script
ok, now i'll have a look at tune2fs
